Gallup Poll Shows Obama ahead 53% to 42% over McCain

The recent Gallup poll (http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2008/11/obama_leads_mccain_by_11_point.html) shows Obama ahead by 53% to 42% over McCain. Gallup polls are usually a good indicator of overall candidate preference of public opinion. As this poll indicates, it would take a HUGE shift in public opinion or a much larger Republican voter turnout to change this trend. Additionally, the Gallup Poll has been VERY accurate indicator of voter's actual votes and preferences. Just go back and study the Gallup findings for every election since its inception. Nothing is 'certain', however, things are looking VERY good for Obama! What do you think? Post your response!
